A farming community in America.
A former slave passes down her African healing powers to her immature great-granddaughter to help her family after a series of tragic events derails her parents and community lives.
An hour-long multi-generational,
female-driven, young adult, magical realism series.

Stranger Things meets Yellowstone
Originally written and recorded by Sam Cooke in February 1964. I would be excited if we were given the rights for our gender-fluid Mom character to sing this song during the first season of the series.
The song "Strange Fruit" started out as a poem written by a Jewish teacher, Abel Meeropel. He turned the poem into a song that Ms. Billie Holiday sang in 1939 when she was 23 years old.
I would be excited if our pan-sexual Mom character could sing this song for our series.
